1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Rundiagnose website and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the Service. Your continued use of Rundiagnose constitutes your acceptance of these terms and any updates we make to them.
2. Description of Service
Rundiagnose is a roguelike strategy diagnostic hub designed to help mid-tier and veteran players diagnose build failures, optimize scaling decisions, and learn from documented run breakdowns through interactive analysis and decision-point walkthroughs. The Service includes diagnostic tools, build troubleshooting databases, stat scaling calculators, community-submitted run analyses, and educational content related to roguelike game mechanics and strategy.
3. Permitted Use
You agree to use Rundiagnose only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behavior includes:
- Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users or Rundiagnose staff
- Uploading, transmitting, or distributing any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Using automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data without permission
- Reproducing, duplicating, or copying the Service or its content for commercial purposes without written consent
- Submitting false, misleading, or malicious run data or analysis
Rundiagnose reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
4. User-Submitted Content
If you submit run data, build breakdowns, decision-point analyses, or other content to Rundiagnose (including through community features), you grant Rundiagnose a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content for the purpose of improving the Service and educating the community. You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.
You retain ownership of your submitted content, but you acknowledge that Rundiagnose may use it in aggregate, anonymized form, or with attribution as part of the diagnostic database and educational materials.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Rundiagnose and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of Rundiagnose and its creators. This includes all text, graphics, logos, images, interactive tools, stat calculators, decision trees, and analysis frameworks. All rights are reserved.
You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, or perform any content from Rundiagnose without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use. You may not modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the Service without authorization.
References to roguelike games, game mechanics, and specific game titles are used for educational and diagnostic purposes. Rundiagnose is not affiliated with or endorsed by the creators of the games discussed.
6. Disclaimers
Rundiagnose provides diagnostic analysis, educational content, and strategic guidance on a best-effort basis. However, we make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any analysis, recommendations, or information provided through the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Your use of Rundiagnose is at your sole risk.
Rundiagnose does not guarantee that:
- Diagnostic recommendations will improve your gameplay or run success
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any defects in the Service will be corrected
- Community-submitted run data is accurate or verified
Game balance changes, patches, and updates may render previously accurate analysis obsolete. Players are responsible for verifying information against current game versions.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rundiagnose shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Your total liability and Rundiagnose's total liability arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Rundiagnose in the past twelve months, or if you have not made any payments, shall not exceed one hundred Hungarian Forints (HUF 100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Third-Party Links and Content
Rundiagnose may contain links to third-party websites, forums, or resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their own terms and policies. We do not endorse or assume liability for any third-party content or services.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Rundiagnose shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Budapest, Hungary.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit those protections.
10. Changes to Terms
Rundiagnose reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of Rundiagnose after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.
11. Termination
Rundiagnose may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination, including but not limited to intellectual property rights and limitation of liability, shall survive.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if not possible, severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
